Weronika Chodakowska began studying piano at the age of 11 at the Frederic Chopin Primary School of Music in Warsaw with Prof. Tatiana Stępniak. Then, enjoyed some early successes of competition, including First Prize in the Competition “Dame Ruth Raithlon” in Warsaw, as well as the First Prize at the National Competition “Duettino”. While studying at Frederic Chopin State School of Music, won numerous prizes at national and international piano competitions. These include Third Prize at the IX. International Silesian Piano Competition in Zabrze in April 2009, the First Prize at I. West National Piano Competition in Szczecin, also in April 2009, Third Prize at the III. International Piano Competition “Per aspera ad astra” in Kielce in May 2009 and the Honour Prize at the II. National Piano Competition “Karol Szymanowski in Memoriam” in Warsaw in December 2009. In 2008 young artist made her debut performing with many piano recitals in USA. In 2012 got First Prize at International Music Competition “Juliusz Zarębski” in Izabelin in Poland. In 2014 her performance of Piano Quintett of Shostakovich was distinguished by the Jury of International Music Festival and Academy in Moritzburg in Germany. In this year Weronika received also the distinction at the International Music Competition “Ibla Grand Prize” in Italy.
In October 2012 Weronika started her Bachelor studies at the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” in Berlin. In May 2015 she ﬁnished her Bachelor Degree in Lucerne with in the class of Prof. Konstantin Lifschitz. In October 2017 Weronika graduated her Master Degree Studies at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of Prof. Elżbieta Tarnawska and Prof. Ramiro Sanjines.
She played under baton of such famous conductors as Jerzy Salwarowski, Sławomir Wróblewski, Paweł Osuchowski, Jacek Kraszewski and Andrzej Afeltowicz. The pianist cooperated with many outstanding pianists, including Vladimir Krainev, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Fabio Bidini, Graham Scott and Vitalij Berzon. In recent years Weronika began to develop her concert career, performing at many festivals in Poland and abroad. The young artist has performed in Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw, in Teatro in Cagliari, in Zhytomir Philharmonic, at the European Frederic Chopin Center in Sanniki as well as the soloist on the stage of Philharmonic in Kielce and Szczecin. Last summer Weronika performed in the Frederic Chopin Museum in Warsaw, at the “Chopin Festival in Łazienki” in Warsaw, at the 51. Festival of Polish Pianism in Słupsk and at the Piano Festival “Chopin. Music. Poetry” in Sanniki.
