Anna Krzyżak is a Polish concert violist. She began her musical education in Grażyna Bacewicz Music School in Jaworzno playing the violin. Changing the instrument to viola in 2010, she was a student of Łukasz Syrnicki at the Karol Szymanowski Secondary Music School in Katowice. In 2016 she started her studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in a viola class of Piotr Reichert and Michał Bryła and a chamber music class of Wojciech Koprowski and Katarzyna Jankowska- Borzykowska. Since October 2018 she has been a student at the Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik in Berlin studying with Simone Jandl.

She has been a truly successful artist since the earliest time. Anna is a former prize winner at the International and National Viola Competitions in Rome, Athens, Sofia, Poznań, Warsaw and more. In 2016 she was among twelve young musicians who were invited to take part in „The Young Musician of the Year” competition as the preselction to the Eurovision Contest. She is a scholar of the most renowned Polish scholarships granted by the Prime Minister, Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Governor of the Silesian Voivodship, Rector of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, President of the Jaworzno city and the Director of the Centre for Art Education. In the years 2012-2016 Anna was a scholar of the Polish Children’s Fund and in 2017 she received a bursary „Młoda Polska” granted by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the National Cultural Centre.

Anna Krzyżak appeared as a soloist and a chamber musician in renowned concert halls in Poland such as the National Philharmonic Hall, Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Centre, National Radio Symphony Orchestra, S1 Studio in Warsaw and abroad in Parco della Musica Hall in Rome, Tonhalle in Zurich, Kurhaus in Merano, Palace in Dresden and more. She performed across Europe and Asia in Singapore, Hongkong, Abu Dhabi, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, England, Italy and Liechtenstein during festivals such as Dresdner Musikfestspiele, Südtirol Festival in Merano, Abu Dhabi Classics, Chopin and His Europe Festival, Nomus Festival in Novi Sad, Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki Festival and La Folle Journée Festival in Warsaw.

Anna performed as a soloist with the Silesian Philharmonic, Zabrzańska Philharmonic, Archetti Chamber Orchestra, LGT Young Soloists and the Szymanowski Youth Orchestra. In 2018 as a member of the LGT Young Soloists she recorded a CD „the Nordic Dream” for the RCA/Sony Music.

She took part in masterclasses guided by Wolfgang Klos, Rainer Honeck, Roberto Diaz, Pierre Henri Xuereb, Patrick Jüdt, Evan Rothstein, Jerzy Kosmala, Katarzyna Budnik, Andrzej Gębski, Marcin Baranowski and Marek Szwarc. Anna cooperated with artists such as Jacek Kaspszyk, Marek Moś, Alexander Gilman, the Orchestra of the Beethoven Academy, AUKSO Chamber Orchestra and the Archetti Chamber Orchestra.
