Marta Gabryelczak-Paprocka, mezzo-soprano

graduate of the Music Academy. G. and K. Bacewiczów in Łódź. Concert singer, teacher, author of articles. In 2014, she received a distinction for the performance of a French song in The Golden Voices Competition in Warsaw. In operetta performances she created the roles of Daisy Darlington in Ball in Savoy by P. Abraham, Prince Orlovsky in Die Fledermaus by J. Strauss, Ruth in The Pirates of Penzance A. Sullivan and Kupidyn in Orpheus in Hell by J. Offenbach. As a soloist, she cooperated with operetta stages of the Musical Theater in Lublin and the Silesian Musical Theater Arte Creatura, as well as with The Łódź Song Theater, where she performed interwar hits and created acting roles. She performed at concerts and festivals, including Adi Jazz Festival in Łódź, Spring Days of Organ Music in the Archcathedral of Lodz, Church Music Celebration in Częstochowa, Retro Song Festival in Warsaw, Music and the Word of the Jesuits and others. She recorded and performed with jazz musicians such as Wojciech Konikiewicz, Michał Kobojek, Jacek Delong and others as part of projects combining classical music with jazz. She gave her voice to record Henryk's Song and Chiara, Karolina Kowalczewska. She sang during external concerts, among others on stages of The Music Theater in Łódź, The Small Theater in Tychy, The Philharmonic in Łódź, and the Royal Castle in Warsaw. She performs the works of young composers as part of the Musica Moderna session and during composer concerts. She worked as a singing teacher at the 2nd degree School of Music in Zgierz in 2015-2018. Currently, she is a singing instructor at the YAMAHA Music School in Pabianice, Music School Łódź and in The Church Music School of the Archdiocese of Lodz. As a vocal instructor she also conducted workshops for the choir Pueri et Puellae Cantores Plocenses, vocal children's groups, both boyish and mixed. Her pupils from Pabianice have won prizes in competitions in Poland and Europe (including in Kiev). She is often invited as a member of the commission in vocal competitions for children and youth. She is the author of scientific articles and one of the authors of articles for the transmissions from The Metropolitan Opera at The Łódź Philharmonic. She refers during scientific sessions. In her  spare time, she is posing for artistic photography.
