Tomasz Pawłowski – pianist
Born in Mielec in 1983.
Tomasz Pawłowski graduated the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, piano class of Alicja Paleta – Bugaj. Studied piano chamber music under Krystyna Borucińska.
Pianist perfected his craft during numerous masterful contests which were led by the most distinguished artists and teachers like: Andrzeja Jasiński, Ewa Pobłocka, Hiroko Nakamura, Cecille Ousette, Ewa Podleś, Wiktor Mierżanow, Hartmut Höll, Jerzy Marchwiński, Maja Nosowska, Katarzyna Jankowska.
A prize-winner of many nationwide and international contests. In 2005 he got the First Award and Gold Medal of International Piano Competition in Oranienburg (Germany). In 2012 he got the First Award of Giosuè Carducci contest in Madesimo (Italy), in duets category (together with soprano Ewa Leszczyńska). In 2016 he reached the final level of International Contest in s'Hertogenbosch (Netherland) together with a baritone - Artur Rożek.
He was a scholar of Mayor of Hamamatsu (Japan) in 2006.
Musician cooperated with violinists: Christian Danowicz and Agnieszka Marucha. In 2012 according with Agnieszka Marucha he recorded Hans Huber's sonatas and miniatures, and in 2016 they recorded chamber pieces of Ryszard Siedlecki's repertoire.
He cooperate with Argentinean bandoneonist and composer – Marcelo Nisinman, and Joanna Freszel, also with baritone Artur Rożek.
Tomasz Pawłowski and mezzosoprano Anna Thun had set up as a duo.
In July 2015 he took a part in EXPO in Milan, and performed series of Chopin's recitals.
Performed in Austria, Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Italy and France.
In Poland he performed as a soloist, with orchestras and chamber player in Warsaw Philharmonic, National Forum of Music in Wrocław, Philharmonic of Łódź, Philharmonic of Rzeszów , Henryk Wieniawski Festival in Szczawno-Zdrój, in Żelazowa Wola and Warsaw stages.
Tomasz Pawłowski is a member of Vrienden van het Lied artistic agency.
